Head of Corporate Communications Dept PT Bio Farma (Persero), N Nurlela mengatakan, ‎pemilihan duta vaksin ini dalam rangka mensosialisasikan peran serta fungsi vaksin kepada masyarakat. Nantinya para pemenang akan dilibatkan dalam beberapa kegiatan Bio Farma serta mensosialisasikan vaksin dan sebagai buzzer sosial media. "Kegiatan ini juga sebagai salah satu upaya Bio Farma dalam mendorong program vaksinasi di Indonesia khususnya," katanya. Para finalis merupakan pelajar dari sejumlah SMA sederajat di Jawa Barat.
